Durability & Handling Tips
With the exception of the 1.1m x 25m roll, each sheet comes with a reinforced white PVC hem and 12mm aluminium eyelets placed at 50cm intervals.
As these tarps are made from pure, unsupported PVC, they do not have the tensile strength of fabric-backed tarpaulins. For best results, we do not recommend securing eyelets under high tension or attaching them directly to hooks. Instead, use elasticated bungee cords rather than rope to prevent stress damage.
These flat-packed tarps may have some creases due to tight packing. Over time, they smooth out naturally when exposed to sunlight and warmth. If an immediate fix is needed, a hair dryer on a low heat setting can help, but be cautious to avoid overheating, which may damage the material.
During cold weather, allow the sheets to acclimatize before unfolding, as they can become rigid and prone to tearing if handled roughly.
